Start to address the wedding invitations some three months prior to your wedding. When should you send wedding invitations? As a general rule wedding invitations are sent 8 weeks before the wedding. Globalisation and a hectic life require you to plan ahead before your wedding. A critical point when making a wedding invitation is when should the wedding guests respond if they can or cannot attend the wedding ceremony. Requesting an RSVP date at least 3 weeks before your wedding is recommended. At a minimum, send your wedding invitations out six weeks in advance, and set an RSVP date of 2 weeks before the wedding.
